  • Power Electronics

Cost-optimized 2-layer PCB for an electronic shooting target. Custom hexagonal board shape with 48× WS2812B LEDs along the perimeter and dual piezo sensors for hit detection on ADC.

TPS564242 buck converter for efficient LED power, TPS2121 power path controller for seamless USB/external 6–12V input priority switching. ESP32-C3 handles LED control, hit detection, and wireless connectivity.

Board shape and routing designed to minimize material cost while keeping all high-current LED traces on dedicated paths.
